Snowman...the resolution of the dream may be too much for your video card or the drivers. 1920X1080 is not one I've seen used before.

I'm pretty sure my problem is codec-based, but I have no freaking idea why/who/when/how/what why....

If someone with more knowledge about codecs and/or codec problems could have a lill look at this text file [link] and maybe determine the cause I'd be a very happy camper! :pout:

try uninstalling Xvid and divX,worth a try..

The dream was encoded at 1920X1080.

No matter what your desktop resolution is set to, the video still plays at 1920X1080. It is then fitted to your desktop depending upon your positioning choice.
