My Computer--> Manage: Application Not Found

I have an icon in ObjectDock for My Computer.  When I right click it and select Manage it gives me an error message dialog box:

Title: ObjectDock.exe

Message: Application Not Found

Instead, I would expect it to open the Computer Management window (just as if I'd right-clicked the My Computer icon on my desktop and selected Manage)

(Note that the other right-click menu items: Open, Explore, Map Network Drive, etc.) all appear to work correctly - it is only the Manage item that is not working).

I'm running:

ObjectDock 1.90 Build 536

Windows Vista 64bit SP1

I've disabled UAC, but it's still not working.

Thanks!

Abby

I dont use the dock but, here is the shortcut to Computer Management

%SystemRoot%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s

And i think vista may be a little sensitive about a thirdpart app launching administrative system tools??

As other options in that menu is not system tools.. like map a drive..

Then again it might be stardock's problem :)

How did you delete the dock? (and then, for that matter, how did you create another?)

Or do you mean you deleted the My Computer icon from the dock?  I tried doing this several times, but I still have the same problem.

Thanks!

Not permissions, because I can create a seperate icon with the shortcut you gave me (thank you for that) and it works.

So, I think it's Stardock's problem.  Do support people from Stardock read these forums?  Or is there a place I can submit the bug?

Thanks!

Abby

You've got to be kidding!  The only thing that Stardock does quickly is make excuses.

Its been two weeks since this post was made - any updates?  I havent seen any posts from Stardock acknowledging this issue or provind a work around other than the separate icon post from a use above.
