Graphical issues with all GC2 versions.

For some reason I've been having a longstanding fight with this game to get it to work correctly. Basically any 3D rendered content just spins around and jumps and shows distortions. Its impossible to get a solid view of it. And int eh game overview when you go to scroll by pressing the cursor to the sides of the screen the view jumps to the middle of nowhere and I have to click on the minimap to get back into a normal view of the game.

If need be I can generate some footage of this and post it. As it is, I don't get a debug.err file and I have no idea what is causign it. I've done everything from replacing ym video card to making sure I'm at the cuirrent drivers. Nothing seems to help.

Any Suggestions?

Planets and ships spinning out of control and screen scrolling issues are most generally due to the use of an Athlon 64 x2 CPU without updated CPU drivers. If this the case with your machine, download and install the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) file found at the bottom of this page.
