Quick win strategies, game length rant

I prefer shorter games, 15-30 min games rather than 30-60 min games.  I played a few 2v2 games and it was obvious after a few levels which side is the winning team.  Yet it still took a long time to win the game (30 mins on prison).  It takes me a long time to destroy the archer towers, castle of light, forts, and the final building.  I have already bought the 6 most expensive items (boots, helm, ring, etc)  Any strategies to win this game quicker?

In most rts games, once it's obvious one side is the winning team, I guess the other team just quits, instead of wait it out and let the other team destroy it's own city.  In demigod, if someone quits, the AI takes over, so I still have to destroy all the towers with the annoying AI coming at me every 1 minute.  I think if no human player is left, we should automaticly win.

The fact that games take longer to finish allows for the losing team to have more of a chance to mount a comeback, unless the game is totally off balance. Perhaps you should increase some tabs in the game settings such as Gold rate and EXP rate to make for a faster game. If you level twice as fast you will be able to kill towers after a short time.

About the leaving players, for the time being i guess it is fine to leave the AI replacements to finish off the game. Remember we are here to test the gameplay etc. If there are only AI opponents left then you are free to exit the game as well. I'm confident on release there will be measures to handle with situations like this, such as a banlist for leavers or an option to end the game if there are only AI available.

I posted in another topic on this subject.  Try towers on low strength.  This make all games 15-30mins and generally amkes for a more exciting and tense game.

I feel like gold and exp make your demigod to good but don't really speed up things too much.  Try my suggestion and post back, it is going over well with many of those I have played with.

Trigeminal is right, setting the tower strength setting to low makes the game a end faster but it can also be annoying I find.

This is because if the towers are on low and one team quickly rushes creep upgrades to that catapat... (can't remember or spell name sorry) then they can completely destroy the other teams base without them having a chance to counter.
