reserve edge limitation?

Hi all, new ObjectDock user here, 90% loving this app, but trying to work out a couple of items

Question regarding "Reserve Edge of Screen" option in Objectdock. Is there a limit to how many docks can have this setting selected? Here is what is prompting this question

OS = Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1

Dock 1 - Left Side of Screen, Reserve Edge of Screen is on

Dock 2 - Right Side of Screen, Reserve Edge of Screen is on

When I try to add a third Dock, either at the top or bottom of the screen, and try to enable Reserve Edge of Screen for the third dock, two things happen:

1) Objectdock grinds away for about 30 seconds when I toggle Reserve Edge of Screen. On the existing 2 docks its more like 2 seconds when toggling Reserve Edge of Screen

2) the amount of screen that is Reserved is actually twice the size of the Dock, as if there are actually two docks stacked. In fact, one time after toggling the Reserve Edge of Screen option on and off several times, it wound up reserving several heights worth of Dock, it was stuck that way until a reboot.

So, is reserving 3 edges too much for OD / Windows to handle? I'm hoping this is just a bug thats fixable and not a limitation. Someday, if ever, we get System Tray support back for Windows, I'd like to replace the taskbar with a 3rd dock and have it not get overlapped by windows.

Thanks

It WOULD be nice feature wise if you were able to select how much space you want to reserve - I wouldn't need Desktop Coral then.

I've noticed a somewhat related issue. I have a dock on the right side of my desktop with "reserve edge of screen" and automatic positioning turned off so that I can offset the dock a couple of inches from the side of the screen.

It works fine but if I move the Windows taskbar to the right edge of the screen, a maximized window will suddenly extend past the dock, even though "reserve edge of screen" is turned on. The maximized window doesn't go all the way to the edge of the screen, but well past the dock.

I'm running OD+ on 64-bit Vista (maybe that is the problem...?)
