Model Request

Ok, here's the problem.  I have a few models that I would like to place in the game (Twilight).  They're all done in Google SketchUp, but I have an .x file exporter, and I've managed to get them to show up after a while of tweaking (posted tutorials never really helped me out for some reason).  Problem is, a lot of them show up backwards, and all of them show up with missing textures, and no hard points.  I've pretty much given up on getting this all to work myself, so if I gave the models to someone who knew what they were doing, would someone be able to do whatever it is that I haven't done yet to make these things work correctly?  I've compared the files I have with the files I've downloaded on ship models that DO work, like the Galactica that I downloaded, and I really can't tell what they have and what mine doesn't thats causing theirs to show up facing the right way and fully textured, and mine to be all screwed up.

They might be using left vs right coordinate systems. For the models in GC2, I *think* it was right-handed.

All the textures missing, or some? Do note that GC2 does not support multiple textures on one model, so everything for a given model needs to be on the same image.

Some.  I've figured out that apparently the engine color is hiding some of my textures.  It's all a little more complex than I'm willing to deal with.

from what i remember, you need to use a multi/sub-object material. only the first 3 materials are used. 1 is for the actual texturing of the piece. 2 and 3 are for the engine color and the race color, but i forget which is which.
