with V eight

fuel injection

and turbo-charged wipers

it can fly

under the radar

faster than light

but the brakes

was there brakes?

but only just

one single parachute 

with no ripcord

wing and prayer

with much hope

and aviator goggles

to break wind

and prevent tears

welling up and

causing momentary blindness

that makes landing

the final climax

requiring a towel

to wipe brow

and dry hands
