The beast...

Has anyone tried out the unclean beast yet?  What do you think of it?

UB is hot

He pretty much replaces Regulus or Rook as a stats/ attack speed damage build, lookin at what, 5000 dps?

Yeah, though, he feels a bit fragile at first.  Not as solid as the rook.

His life drain grip is OP :P

He's also real buggy - but he looks great and has lots of flavor like the other demigods (sans Regulus, who is a really boring concept)

I thought Regulus was great in concept, his implementation was a little lacking though. From what I've seen in the lua files, Regulas might be a bit more viable without having to resort to increasing only stats and attack speed and relying on auto attack.

Regulus is definitely the most cliche demigod, and I think the Unclean Beast is the most unique.  Anyway, I think Beast seems strong and has good variety and versatility in his abilities.

UB is the classic ganker, but the maps don't really make ganking possible with towers and what not. All and all UB is strongest, but it feels he can't really be used due to the map's lacking.

The Beast is win.

Could you imagine a plague with the quadruple units one of those crazy modders added in?

He is really good at taking out other demigods. His combo of 900 health drain (stuns enemy demigod while doing this skill) followed by his spot (another 900 damage) and a few hits = like 1.9-2.1k damage over a period of about 10 seconds (prob less?)

Agreed, also if you go for the movement speed passive ability and the boots of speed and all father ring he becomes the ultimate hero nuker, he needs a nerf to his movement speed skill and his life drain skill, also if you want you can make him the ultimate DPS character.

I think movement speed is neccesary for UB because he is a close range faster and not ranged, and so cant hit demigods which are ranged unless he is fast enough. Tbh just nerf his 900 drain skill to something a bit less, not too much, and also lower its mana to compensate.

Ofc we have had game for about a day so we REALLY cant tell yet how good he is.

Need more conditional attacks..

There is no synergy to his attacks except to do the first dps attack and then stun and do the life leach attack.  And stacking the IAS's of the passive one and frenzy. :/

Stun+Nuke is too dumb a synergy for me to call a synergy.   There shouldn't even be stuns, except for maybe a freeze.  Just interrupts, slows, snares, roots, silences in place of stuns.

And why does he have such a long tongue when you can't use it to shoot out and grapple someone like Scorpion in mortal combat, or Pudge's hook in DotA?

True there aint much synergy but he is kinda epic and still interesting, one synergy/combo is going ms/as skill, venom spit, leech bite and the ooze, if you run in at epic speed, use ooze, stun him then spit at him you can almost kill any demigod, in that way he kinda reminds me of nerubian assassin as much as pudge. Also it would be neat if the long tongue did something

right.. as i said, just stun&nuke.  That's dumb.
