Having a LAN party with SINS! What strat should I use?

I'll be at a LAN party tonight where we'll all play SINS on our laptops.  None of them have played online, whereas I consider myself to be preaty good online.  I don't expect anyone will be able to put of much of a challenge against me one-on-one.  LOL, they probably don't even know what RA is, and have never seen an Illum spam.

So what method of shock and awe should I use against them?  Shall I make them cry when 30 illums crush their fleet, or shall I go for RA and show them them the fun of "free ships forever?"  I usually play Vasari, and showing off the space egg and 40 or 50 subverters in actions will just be too much fun. :D

 

What are your thoughts?

 

PS - I don't know if they have all actually bought the game, I'm not going to bring it up though.  Perhaps I'll advertise the awesome online the whole game, so we can get some more people to play with us. :)  They would also have to buy the game for that; which again, they may have, I just don't know.

Well.. if they are all pretty much new enough that they don't know that Returning Armada is, chances are they'll probably be pretty slow getting off the ground.

Best shock and awe I can think of? Play TEC, maybe bribe someone to help you out and build up a bunch of Novaliths and nuke all their planets at the same time (well, one guy at a time obviously).

i just had a lan party with sins great fun. me and one of my freinds who was on my team liked the hell of a lot of defence then expand then the other team had a guy who just built capital ships and through them against everything. so we couldnt expand and he couldnt break us and we just ended up in a stalemate but i think be best moment all night was whn he saw the choke point he had to go through to get to all my planets and just said we're atacking the other guy first, i had bout 2 level 4 capital ships but then 50 colbolts 30 lrm 20 flack and so on then all my tactical slots were filled with hanger defences.

 

but i am sugesting sins for lan partys really good. only problem is lack of in game chat to only one player found it to all but not one is it there???

Press tab when you are in the chat box. It will cycle through the players in the game, allies, all, and friends.

Just do what we used to do in the old Dreamcast days: Unplug their controller, er, mouse and keyboard.  THat should provide enough shock and awe.
