I'm not sure if a demo will come out yet for this game. Can I pre-order at $45, play the beta and if I don't like it, can I cancel and get full refund?
heard demo comes outs 1 month after the release of the game so march
The beta is mainly for testing, so if you were using it to trial the game, it is guaranteed you will be disappointed at this point in time.
Right now, they are making sure that it runs on all computers so they got the bare minimum needed for those tests. After the game passes all hardware related tests, they will start introducing content to start balancing the game. But that could be a while off.
If you are unsure, just keep an eye on the forum once some updates are released, and players start commenting. But take into account, that it will be biased towards bugs(since thats what betas are for).
Or if still unsure, the demo is in March. 
You definitely won't like the game very much in the beta state, since it lacks content and have bugs at the moment.
If you are unsure whether you will definitely buy it, I'd rather wait for the demo if I were you.
The beta is not a demo; please do not preorder if you are not interested in actually testing and helping the devs. If you want a demo, there will most likely be one some time after the final game is released.
