Just got the latest WB and it will not register!!!

HELP HELP HELP!!!!!

I just purchased the latest WB bundle and downloaded it and no matter what I do it will not allow me to register it. I have turned off all fire wall, antivirus and other malware software. I got my registration email and I used the serial numbers provided and the poped up bogus!!

I created a log file that I sent to support several times showing that either the email or serial number was incorrect.

I uninstalled WB bundle and cleaned the registry and still no joy.  Stardocks server has been iffy the last 2 days too.

I checked all of my internet settings and called my IP to see if my connection was 100%, pinged away just fine.

Would love to use this product, but, I'm getting very frustrated with it and stardock support for not getting back to me, I even called durring regular hours too guys!!! 8(|

OS: Windows XP Professional SP2

How long has it been?  You just purchased and installed...like today?  Be patient.  If after 24 hours you haven't received some support, then maybe start getting antsy.

How are you trying to install WindowBlinds? Through Impulse? SDC?

No with the registration app that came with it in the download called activate.exe and it blows big time!!!!

Ok, download & install impulse from this link

Once installed, you should be able to download & activate your windowblinds using Impulse.

Use the serial # you got in that original email.

Before you do the above, uninstall the windowblinds you currently have, run a registry cleaner [like ccleaner or similar], reboot, then reinstall via Impulse, then reboot again.

You should be good to go from there.

Come back to this thread if you have further problems.

There's your problem right there.  You should have gotten instructions with your email on how to download and install.  It's best to follow them, they know what they're talking about.

OK still no joy here... Had a tech from Comcast out here today and he verified that my IP service and settings are rock solid.

I tried the Impulse route with all the uninstalls and running CCcleaner. Still no joy.

Even the impulse software didn't intall and work.

Tech support has been of little help to me at all.

I just sent them a huge email with all the log files and email registration requests.

 

Hell the new serial number that they sent me for WindowBlinds 6 bundle didn't even work.

I'm beginning to think that something of a higher power does not want my daughter to have her custom setup..... }:) }:) Maybe so....

 

I'm just getting tired of this whole gyration guys!  Help me keep my cool with some good windowblinds veteran user advice PLEASE?

 

I'll keep trying if y'all will keep aking questions and trying to help!
