Custom Mods & Maps on ICO -- the [C] tag -- a new idea to get people to play them

As we all know, this game does not have an auto-download feature for custom maps and mods which means that we're stuck playing one basic game type and a few pre-made maps and random maps (but no balanced clan match worthy maps).  One of the big problems is that people may have custom maps and mods installed but no one would ever know from looking in the lobby (especially when folks use smurf names).

So I propose:

1. I will make a list of standard custom content (some maps and the Go Big or Go Home mod) that everyone who plays on ICO should have.

2. To indicate that you have the custom content and that you're up to date, people can put on a [C] tag.  The Custom Club Standard.

The Custom Club headquarters is at the [DT] clan forums; you can find the Custom Contnet forum here:

Here are links to the current Custom Club Standard content.  If you have it please wear a [C] tag when practical:

I really like the idea.  I will try to add the [C] tag to my [DT] tag.  Only problem with this idea is that I will have to redo my friends list all over again.  I don't smurf for the specific reason that it messes with the friends list.

I don't think there's really a need to change your clan tag player account, but it would be great for when you're using other names.  I'm not planning to create a [DT]-[C] name at this time but I'm adding it to one of my other names.

Can't edit again.  So if you guys see a [DT]WHIPperSNAPper out there--he's [C] compliant since he's the dude leading the charge <g>.
