Boot Skin problem

Hi im using bootskin 1.03 and when i boot my skin i restart my computer to see how it looks but my computer crashes on that boot so i can't get to my computer without safe mode (i deleted boot skin and then everything work again) P.S. Sory for my bad english

Depending on your BIOS, you might not be able to get Bootskin to work. You can try to use some other versions from the download page, but if none of them work I'm afraid there isn't much that can be done.

Bootskin is really hit and miss for XP users. It has not been updated in years and is no longer supported.

I really liked BootSkin when I had XP. Now I've got Vista, and would really like it back. Will there be a new, Vista-compatible version coming out? If not, is there some other program like it that will skin my vista boot screen?

At one point there was some development going on with BootVista. Then SP1 came out and it had to be changed. It is currently under debate and reworking to see if it can be released at all. It goes with out saying that if we can't make a product that is worth putting out there we simply won't do it. Keep looking to Wincustomize and any changes in these developments will be posted.
