Need Help Reverting Back To Windows XP Style Skin (Edit: Problems are Resolved)

Ignore this topic, I got my questions answered.

Hey guys, I'm new to WindowBlinds. I recently installed the trial version of WindowBlinds and tried out the Mac OSX Panther skin made by Xero. It's a really cool theme and I really like it. However, whenever I try to revert back to the Windows XP Style skin, my computer freezes and when I delete the process from the Task Manager, it converts back to the regular, ugly looking Classic look.

When I right click on My Computer, go to Properties, then the Advance tab, then Performance Settings, click on the "Adjust For Best Appearance," nothing happens!! Everything is still in the Classic skin. After running multiple scans for viruses (McAfee), malware (A-Squared Free), and spyware (AVG), nothing was found. Also, when press the Start button and go to All Programs, the programs that can expand (ie. Accessories) show nothing in the expansion, just a big white box that has nothing in it and I cannot select anything either. The only way that I figured out how to fix that was to load back that Mac OSX Panther skin with WindowBlinds.

What should I do?

I tried uninstalling WindowBlinds and it still doesn't work. My brother, who bought the full version of WindowBlinds also has the same problem as me.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Thank you sooooooo much for any help you guys can provide! I really appreciate it.

My Laptop:
NVIDIA GeForece 8400M GS (Video/Graphics card)
Intel Core 2 Duo (Processor) 1.40GHz
2 GB of RAM
114 GB of free space on my hard drive
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3

Is Windowblinds still installed? If not, reinstall it, open the WB config, choose the XP Style theme and apply. See if that works.

And if trial expired you might like to get one from stardock.

First open WB config, system info.Copy that text then paste it here.
Are you and you brother on a router together, use the same AV,anti spy, firewall or some other common denominator? In other words, hooked up at the same house?

got nothing to do with whether you use the classic look or xp look

Wb actually skins the classic look

in the appearance tab use the drop down under "windows and buttons" for the xp skins

Hm. That seemed to do the trick. Haha. I feel so stupid now. XD

Thanks for the info!

About my brother, he just had to reboot his PC and that seemed to fix it. :/ Kinda weird, but it worked; and yeah, we're hooked up at the same house. I would have never thought that rebooting the computer would fix my brother's problem.

Thanks again for your comments! I'm actually considering buying WindowBlinds, it's a really great program.
