My ticket for "too many activations" has been open for over 20 hours and no one has looked at it yet.

Do you guys not work on Tuesday or something? :P

I bought GalCiv2 a long time ago.  Probably installed it a few times.  I bought GalCiv2 Expansions last week and had to install and uninstall maybe 5 times to get the directories to work properly.  I installed it on a PC at work and tried to archive it and bring it home; that did not work.  Now my install at home says "too many activations".

Can you please look at my ticket/account and fix it.

Thanks.

I sent an email to Stardock Support 24 hours ago. Within minutes, I was issued a ticket number. No one has responded to my ticket.

Are you suggesting I open a ticket to have someone look at my ticket? :P

It's supposed to be within 48 hours response time. Give it some time. ;)

Did you reply to your ticket at any point?

Each time a ticket is responded to it will have its time reset and put to the back of the queue.

I cannot reset activations, but someone should be around to do it shortly.

Xptical,

Your Activation Count has now been reset, you should be able to register your re-installed games.

Thanks to all. I was able to login and play a few turns for the first time in about a year. Crap, now it's 1AM. You all suck so bad... :P

You should find some way to de-authorize the game after midnight.

The activation threshold is a preventive measure against account theft and serial number sharing. It is a measure taken  directly keeping peoples account information secure. There is no limit on activation but too many times to fast, too many different IP addresses (all over the country perhaps), and so on and so forth, can cause the activation count to trip. Often times we get to these emails with in hours of getting them. It could have been you were sorted into the wrong email queue but I am glad we were able to fix things for you. Please let us know through support@stardock.com or here in the forums (or both) if this should happen again.
