Map scrolling gets stuck

Hello, was hoping maybe this is a common issue with a simple fix. I just had a game crash that seems to have been caused by map scrolling getting stuck. I still had control of the mouse and could go scroll and click on other areas of the map, and even use other empire screens with no issue, but once I go back to the map screen, it's still stuck auto scrolling in a SE direction. A saved game reload didn't help. Anyone have this issue? I am playing TA but seem to recall this issue even being around back in GalCiv1. Thanks
