Help activating cheats in Windows Vista

Can anyone help me activate the cheats.  I have Windows Vista, and have clicked on the desktop icon.  I click on "Properties", and add the word "Cheat" to the end of the target string.  When I click apply, it keeps saying "The name specified in the target box is not valid."  "Make sure the path and file name are correct.  Any ideas?

Have you seen this thread? You might need to create a different shortcut, it's explained in that thread.

Thank you. The posts explained it to me. I want to learn to play this game. I have been hooked on MOO2 for 14 years. I honestly haven't found a game I was excited about until this one. Thanks again.
