Diplomacy 1.10

Give us the lowdown

At the moment I don't have time for online games, so I'm forced to play the single player mode, which I'm sure most of us do anyway. The biggest problem with the game for me, is by far the lousy (forgive the lack of candor) 'diplomacy engine' with unlocked teams.

There is so much right with this game that the few things destroying it feels frustrating to the point of ALT+F4.

Balancing is nice and essential for competitive online gaming, but the thing preventing singleplayer games from ever having any worthwile appeal is the lack of depth in the 'diplomacy engine'. Like the pirates it's just infuriating instead of adding a much needed gameplay element.

So basically it boils down to this:

What, if any, changes have been made to diplomacy and interaction with allies in 1.10?

I don't know. While I don't like diplomacy in general, Sins diplo doesn't bother me. Thou the choices of missions could use a bit more Intelligence, overall I like it. Not you can't be friends with everyone. And sometimes I wish they didn't all offer me a mission at the same time hehehe.
