Lifetime of Application Notifications

Is this adjustable?

ObjectDock Plus is fantastic.  The only beef that I have with it as a complete replacement for the Windows taskbar is that notifications (such as when a messenger client sends a message) on last for about 1 minute.  I have mine set to bounce and have watched it.  When someone messages me, the icon will bounce for about a minute and then stop.  What sucks about this is that if I'm gone from my desk for more than a minute, and someone messages me during that time, I have no way of knowing.  The Windows taskbar leaves the application orange until I reopen the window.

Is there, or could there be, a registry setting to control the TTL for this (with 0 or -1 meaning forever)?

I dunno why no one replied to this before.
Maybe there isn't a solution.

i believe you have to change the notification time from within your messaging client
