updating old wb skins....

I just updated my old incubus wb........but i couldnt use the update button on the skin due to the fact that the new uploading system is still giving me the "failed to upload error'

So in turn, i uploaded using the old system which still works......my question is: will this new upload replace my old skin, or will it act as a new skin? 

 

*kinda confused.....*

Does this mean we can expect to see a Vista version of 'Sunken Treasure' sometime in the nearish future?? Hope so cos it's one of my faves and love using it with various pirate/nautical themes I've come up with... and it recolours fantastically to create a *treasure chest-like* woodgrain finish. :)

So glad to have been of some assistance...'Sunken Treasure' is one of my most used and all time fave WB's cos it recolours magnificently and lends itself wonderfully to piratical and nautical themes with a touch of "aarrgghh" about them (see below)

it needs a major overhaul.....like most of my skins........after the one im doing now, ill be getting stuck into sunken treasure......so far ive updated, frankenstein....and incubus and wednesdays nightmare......alot of work.....

I agree with you Kitty...I have just recently updated a couple of my skins...it's like making a whole new blind, but it is worth it, when you see how far you have come since you made the older skin.  ;)

i couldnt agree more....everytime i open up and old skin to work on it and change it, my first thought always is.....'wtf was i thinking???'........ :LOL: (huggles)

Muchly looking forward to it. :) As you can probably tell from my screen shot, I'm using Sunken Treasure in XP (cos it doesn't display the best in Vista, which is understandable, seeing as it was made for XP), so a Vista version will be a most welcome addition to my library of skins and totally cherished. :)

So when it comes time to start revamping Sunken Treasure, and that thought occurs to you, just think positively, "I'm doing this cos I luvs tha cap'n and he's really gonna luv it", and that'll get ya through. ;p
