Alliances Viewscreen

Can I see who the computers have allied with?

Sometimes when I play a game, I attack a computer unwisely with whom I should have allied because I could not see that it was already allied with another computer. Is there a way I can view alliances? If not, I would like that ability. I want to make good choices and avoid galactic war III, where I am the steller Germans.

this would be usefull in singleplayer but in multiplayer it really cuts the "backstabbin" part of the game cause u cant secretly ally with ur enemies and "betray" the others positions to the one ur really allin with.

also keeping the ones ur backstabbin believin ur not allied with the enemie but only with them just rulez ;)

It's a good idea because in real life you usually know who is allied with who, and who is at war with who.

also, to adress ur "real life" statement, look at iraq, we dont even actually know who or what were fightin, i mean anyone can call themselves al-quada and than they can freeze all ur bank-accounts and travel privileges just in case!!! without a shred of evidence!
But i'll just stop here before i fuck up the topic of disscusion ;p

anyway, in real life the "enemy" can be even more elusive...

End of quote

We know exactly who the government of Iraq is allied with. You are referring to the rebels/pirates. We know the factions are Shiite and Sunni. We know Iran is involved, but that is another story for another day.

true but i mean like the "Iran" playstyle...

i mean on one side the're with the one and on the other their with the other, get my drift?

and then again, in iraq with the factions ur right...but...what are the factions in Afghanistan.....?

anyway, before i do fuck up the topic ;)

Lying about ur alliances would become impossible and i really love havin players "dance like puppets" under my deceitfulness :HOT:

Thats true; But, I feel both ways because it is hard to tell but finding out the hard way is fun.

Why not make it an option like locked teams? the devs could add in something like 'viewable factions' or 'viewable alliances'.
