Is Object Desktop Ultimate going to be released on the 31st?

Today Is March 31. I though this was the day that object desktop ultamite is released? I have been counting down and I wake up today and it doenst upgrade so I have been waiting and I CAN WAIT NO LONGER! LOL I have been excited about this. What do I have to do to get object desktop Ulimate. AHHH I am so impatient. I am sorry It is only 3 pm here and I just couldnt wait till tommorow to clasify it as a problem. Too excited. ( : thank you and Again I am sorry. LOL

Hey What do you mean Philly? and I island I AM TRYING! LOL Im just so excited. And i didnt know that the date wasnt for shure? I thought that that was the for SHURE date but i understand that making a programs isnt easy! And Of course it should be perfected before released. I just though that it was me only that wasnt getting it. It Makes me feel ALLOT BETTER knowing that it isnt released yet. I have something to look foward to still. I AM SO EXCITED! Isnt anyone else? Rob, what are you expecting?  ODNT Ultimate is all the products in the suite.  If you had ODNT yesterday, today you have ODNT Ultimate . . with the same apps.

The difference is going to be for those users who didn't have a subscription yesterday . . but want one after ODNT Ultimate launches.  They are going to have to choose what version is right for them.

Remember, ODNT isn't a program, it's a subscription, a service.  So there may be a "launch" but that's different from a software "release".

I'm glad you are excited though.  2008 will be a great year for us all.

For any software company, not just Stardock, when it comes to release dates, they are hardly ever acurate. They are written in pencil and are always subject to change.

If I remember correctly, SD was aiming for March 31. It wasn't a guarantee, nor a promise, but a tentative release date.

Impulse is available to everyone, and I already have Deskscapes 2.0 with my current ODNT sub.

RobJK, Impulse is not part of Object Desktop Ultimate. You can download it from the following link. WWW Link

If you all ready has Object Desktop and run a Vista version that meets the requirements you should be able to run Deskscapes now.  ;)

well all good things come to those who wait.. stardock will release ODNT ultimate when it is ready and not before. i for one would rather waiting for a product that is completely finished other than something that is only half done with a constant need to update everyday

If it's raining I complain "The weatherman/weatherwoman said it's only going to rain this much and instaead it rained that much". Essentially the responders are right. You have all of the available elements of Object Desktop Ultimate 2008 if you've been a regular subscriber. You also already have available all of the Betas of Object Desktop Ultimate 2008.

One thing I have enjoyed by subscribing is seeing the continuous improvement to Object Desktop that's taken place since I first subscribed in 12/2005. You can't pay Toyota $35 a year for a brand new car each and every year. I wish you could though. :LOL:
