Something found while exploring...

After exploring an astiroid, the computer said "found something interesting here" (first time for me). now when i go to the aritfacts tab of the research screen nothing is there. what do i do now to expolit this?

Yeah, if it's an artifact they specify that in the warning. If it's something like Kalsitrate ? , crystals that give 20% to trade or the penal colony stuff or tundra farms on an ice planet it's always "found something interesting here".

This may be a bit like asking you if you breathe regularly, but...did you explore the 'roid once you had conquered it? I had a similar problem the first time I got the "another empire has found a powerful artifact" prompt.

You will see a message in the lower left boxes of your interface. Any time you find something interesting, it'll leave a note there for you to check.

Thanks!.. Also does is there way to get the computers to fight eachother as well as you? every so called FFA game i play the computer gangs up on me & doesnt shoot at eachother..

You can choose to lock the teams in the game options and then specify which team each AI belongs to. You can have them in groups or all on a different team. With teams locked, there is no diplomacy, so they will always be against each other (sans reloading bugs).
