I have a couple of Questions

Issues with WindowBlinds 6?

Hello,

I have a couple of questions having used WindowBlinds. I am finding that there is a bubble-esque background behind every item name on my desktop. Also, when I highlight a folder, there is a large background shadow that appears. (The icons are larger than I usually have them as well and my monitor's display size remains unchanged.) How do I remove the shadow and bubble text. The text is white which explains the bubble but I'd like to change the text to black w/o the bubble. Also, my contextual menu no longer allows me to sort the desktop by name. Which application do I use to reset that? I know these are newbie questions for ObjectDesktop, but since I've only been using it today, I guess for "now" I am new to this! For reference, I am using the AeroMetal theme by Stardock.

Thanks!

Can you screen shot what is going on to us? Also what are your system specs as well as version number you are on. You will find the version number under the System Info tab. Just copy and paste that here.

Some more info,

What I am trying to do is restore the desktop font and folder styles to their orignal look (pretty much done) and the text style/size which needs to be restored. It seems to try keeping the MacPC X style, even after I deleted the style. Once I went tried to restore the windows styles, the minimize/maximize/close buttons were alot smaller than normal. Should I uninstall Object Desktop and reinstall it?

Thanks!

Sure, should I post it on a website so I have an Url I can give or can I just post it in the window here from my desktop?

You'll need to upload to somewhere like imageshack.us, then copy the Direct Link to Image and follow bichur's advice.

Here is my desktop as it is now... the buttons could be an IconX issue and I wonder if I uninstall ObjectDesktop and then reinstall it, if the problem would likely go away. I tried inserting the link to the image but it appears that's not working so I added the direct link as well.

Image is very small and hard to see.  (I'm old)
If you have IconX installed and running, right-click on the icon in the systray and shut it off (right-click | Unload).

for me it's blocked - damn the electric fence, damn the electric fence

assuming you did't take to option in IconX to not show icon

if no icon in tray, try checking Task Manager and see if it's running

Hence why I said imageshack is easier, both for the uploader and the person trying to view the image. No hoops to jump through.
