Computer Players Gang Up

They always seem to team up aganst me

I am not sure if it only happens to me, but if I start a game FFA against the computer. When it starts to get late game it ends up being all of them in a peace treaty against me. I have tried many other things, trying to do the diplo missions they give me, but it seems to always come out the same. Has anyone else had this problem where the computer seems to gang up on you?

Also there was another thing, the TEC Hoshiko Robotics Cruiser seems to do its own thing. Even if I have it bound to a fleet and have it set to move in formation. I have seen many times the Robotics Cruiser jumping without my fleet, and sometimes just flying right into the enemy. I have also had problems with the Cruiser not using its ablities when they are on autocast.

it's a wierd unconfirmed vicious cycle. you get a % in approval from another race for doing their missions, but the minute you destroy one of his ships (say they come into your gravity well) then you reset back to zero. The AI, however unconfirmed, doesn't appear to fight eachother as much but tells others to attack you for a % approval, only they never get reset to zero since they don't attack eachother and the result seems to be that the AI will gang up on you.

Locked temas fixes this very quickly.

Yah thats what I end up doing all the time. I have to make locked teams, otherwise I can't even finish a large scale game.

I wish they would put a personal hold fire in the game. Where you could set it up not to attack one faction or another.

Also, it is hard to get anything done without being able to keep the progress you have made in an alliance. Here is a thread on it https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?aid=302346

The problem is if the CPU can't gang up 7 v 1 then you will be dominating in no time. Think of it like you are the biggest bully on the block and everyone eventually decides to stand up to you. While I agree this shouldn't be the case from the first second of play, I like it over the alternative. Locking teams just allows you to pick off the closest team while the rest slowly wait for you to build a war machine and run them over.

Maybe the problem is then, the player should be able to give the computer missions. Such as; Attack green and I will give you 500 medal. I think that would make it a little more fare, it is hard to compete with computers that work so well together.
