new problems...

Hmm..okay,  i reinstalled vista the other day cause it wasnt installed with my fave name of 'crazyhorse'  so i saved the work i had done on my new wb 'Rise of Mezzanine" for the comp and before the reinstall, my skin was working really really well!! (in fact i was pretty dam impressed!!!)  .......but since i have re applied the skin..its not the same, and for some reason, the 'maximize' button on the top uis frame dissapears when i apply my skin, and also the user pane now has black jaggies around some of the edges and before it didnt.........   :NOTSURE:   AND the user pic is showing and i cannot disable it........before i was able to disable it.

 

does anyone have any idea what is going on?  also, my professional skin studio is acting weird.....it says it cant find files or something......but then after that it opens.........  would reinstalling both skin studios and maybe wb fix this? and also my skin problems? or is there a simpler solution??

Start with a fresh install of WB and SKS. Save all your skins etc then use the zapper WWW LINK to get rid of WB and SKS. Reboot, the install, the reboot. See if that works

I followed yr instructions fuzz.........but I still have the same problem with my skin. I reinstalled wb6 and sk 6, havn't reinstalled sk professional yet.

i still have black jaggies where it is supposed to be transparent on the startmenu and i still lose the maximize button on my window top uis..... why i got no idea. what should i do?

oh yeah, i used zappa like you said, and dlded it from yr link. i can now disable the userpic ( i just didnt look hard enough to find the check box for it......) I might recut the image and try again, if not, i guess ill have to send you the wb, cause its just freaky how it some how takes out the maximize button when the skin applies ........and the jaggies are just horrible to view....

Can someone please lend me a hand here with this situation.......now wb is only skinning the frames not the startmenu and the taskbar, i dont know what is going on....please someone help

I don't think so... you're into whips and chains (all that other kinky and brutal bondage stuff) and poor kitty wouldn't be able to skin for weeks afterwards.

However, kitty, ya ain't gonna get off entirely... when I sees yer next I'll slap yer across the wrist with a wet bus ticket. :p

Oh, and I'm glad you got it sorted and didn't feel like or or with your new upgrade.
