Weird scrolling bug

As the title says, I have a bug that seems to have come up with the camera strafing on one of my games - depending on which way the camera is facing, I can scroll with (both mouse and keyboard) either down and right or up and left, but not all four directions at the same time. Every saved game in that group seems to be affected, even one I saved yesterday...Others from previous games seem to work fine though. Mouse and all my keyboard functions seem to be working perfectly fine outside the game.

Every so often it will let me scroll a tiny bit in one of the non-working directions if I try several times, or let me (for example) scroll left a bit and then scroll right till it gets back to the starting point and seems to hit an invisible wall.

Already tried deleting the uimapping file as suggested for another scrolling bug fix, but that had no apparent effect. Ditto for restarting the game multiple times and rebooting my system.

Running Windows XP Pro, latest version of Sins. Thanks in advance for any help.

EDIT: Also tried uninstalling the game completely, then reinstalling and copying the saves back over, but that didn't fix it either.

I'm having this problem too. I just got 1.03 and it happened for the first time, but I'm also playing for the first time on a five start system, which I think is the reason the bug is happening. My starting planet in my starting system is in the corner farthest away from all the other systems, and I find I can't scroll (using either the mouse or the keyboard) towards it when I'm close to the center of everything. It doesn't matter what way I flip the galaxy either. I can scroll TOWARDS the center of the galaxy if I focus on my home planet, but not back. After I move a certain distance towards the center though I can scroll back, but just to a specific point which is not as far back as my home planet.

It seems to me that the game does not let you scroll too far away from everything so you couldn't scroll in one direction infinitely, but that it seems to think that my planet (and nearby stuff) is beyond this invisible "do not scroll area." Like I said, I've played 10 or so different maps so far (all random) and this is the first time it happened. Did the game just screw up setting up the random map?

Oh yeah, to actually get to my planet I either need to focus on it via the empire tree, or I can scroll out a lot then scroll in focusing on it.

I'm getting a scrolling issue. Not quite the same. After an hour into my 1.03 game, my up/down scroll was suddenly reversed (putting the cursor to bottom of screen made the screen scroll UP). It's real confusing. Left/right is fine.

If I reload savegames, there is a definite point where everything's all right - then it's screwy for all subsequent reloads.

I can mess with mouse rotate and finally get it right, but then my start system is to the northeast in this 5-star system; it used to be northwest. It takes lots of work to rotate - I really wish there was a simple "rotate map" button.
