Production

Hi,

Maybe one of the more experienced players can help me out, i seem to get by ok but noticed a very big difference in production between me and the AI.

This can become a problem if they are close to me and i don't have time to build up properly before the start bugging me to get money out of me, when i have good defence build it get better ;)

How come the AI is growing so fast? Any hints/tips for poor me :sniff!:

Dang, I wish this forum let you edit...
Anyways, you need to optimize your income and expense sliders, which esp. in the early game for me means max expense and highest income from the income slider you can get (have to play with that one).
Then with the three allocation sliders, change them to reflect your immediate goals (lots of forum topics on that) which may be max military for those quick colony ships, or maybe punching out some research early, etc etc.
Like I said, it's all in the sliders :)
