Reverie working as intended (bug)?

When I first played Advent and used Reverie it would stop an enemy (cant move, fire, cast, jump, etc), but you could still shoot them. The more you hurt them, the shorter the Reverie "stun" would last. With higher levels of the ability they would take more damage before breaking out of the effect.

The description also seems to indicate this is how it should work.

However, after using it again recently (post patch?) it seems to work more like the Vessari version where it just locks them up, but you are unable to attack the target until the effect wears off.

Is this as intended? Is it a bug?

You are correct, changed in 1.02. I've noticed this as well, can only suspect it's a bug since this is what they wrote in patch changes:

"-Reverie: friendly units will no longer auto-acquire enemies under the effects of reverie as attack targets."

Which should mean that you can still attack them if you give the order. So probably a bug, otherwise they just failed to update the description.

I have noticed the same issue. Rarely, when my team mate uses this ability, my Halcyon auto targets and hits them a couple times, but I cannot tell any of my other units to hit the stunned ship, nor can he.
