White artifacting on edges

Well, I just installed Vista 64 yesterday and when I loaded up Sins everything played just fine, but there was white artifacting* around the edges of ships, planets and debris. I played a full game for three hours or so and never had a crash or a hiccup except for this.

I'm guessing it's a driver thing. And no, I'm certain it isn't heat related.

Specs:
Athlon X2 5600+ 2.8ghz
Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe
4gb Mushkin DDR2 800
EVGA 8800GTS 640mb
Driver: ForceWare 169.38 Vista 64-bit

Honestly, I didn't try another driver yet, seeing as how I spent quite a few hours yesterday installing Vista and whatnot.

I'll post up a screenshot later.

*Note: I don't think artifacting is the word I want, but I can't think of a better one right now.

See the white junk on the edges of my Cap Ship factory? Granted, when I went to take the screenshot there was a lot less of it than last night for some reason.

Maybe I'll play it again and they'll be gone. Like magic.

I think it's the anti-aliasing, which seems worse on some skyboxes than others for some reason. Turning on Triple Buffering in the Nvidia drivers or Alternate Center Pixel in the ATI drivers seems to help a bit.

I used to have this problem, after I did a reinstall of windows (unrelated) it went away. My guess is it was a driver issue?

I enabled triple buffering, but still had the white particles. I'm still thinking this is a driver issue.

In other news, the game now crashes when I start a new game. Installed the fix in the tech faq, restarting now. If it still crashes I'll send the dump to support.

I upped the AA in game to 4x and that seems to have helped a little, though the white particles are still on the edges of most everything. I'm still convinced this is a driver issue.

No more crashes. Fix worked.

Nvm, turning cinematic view on then off again fixed it. Weird. I wonder how it got stuck there.

I'll update on here when a new driver comes out from Nvidia. Well, one that gets rid of the white junk. I'm not reinstalling vista, I just installed it two days ago. ;)
