where's the flat buttons override in WB6?

I am using some skins from WB4 and they have 3d buttons in some toolbars. WB4 had an override to make these look flat, but I can't find it in WB6. There's no help file. Any pointers?

Also, is it possible to change the list of categories? I'd like to rename some of those to "new" "old" "try" etc, but I can't find any place to modify the category list.

Right click on desktop, Properties, Appearance tab, Advanced, Make toolbar buttons flat.

Would seem handier (not to mention logical) to have all those controls accessible through WBConfig, rather than having to remember which controls are in which dialog. 0.02

This doesn't work. The dialogue box you are talking about is the one that is modified by windows blinds (older versions) but WB6 doesn't do this. In XP, with WB6, there's no such option in the advanced dialogue box in the appeareance settings.

Cavan1: It looks like you need to enable the option in wbconfig for corrupted text backgrounds (System info - checkbox at the bottom right)

Hey Neil, I had a render running when I took that screenie, render using almost all of my cpu, my crappy 2.4 gig celeron. It took about 15 seconds each for the dialogs to open. The only window I ever have corruption with, always, is WB config, all others are fine. With WB config it is always the text background and also with most skins the min and close buttons are corrupted.

Just tested again as have a render running, display properties/appearance opens fine, corruption only happens when open advanced, which is linked to WB config.? If I go to settings then open advanced for my graphics card settings there is no corruption.

As above CPU 2.4 gig Celeron
Graphics card ATI 9200se 128mb, seems this combo does not play well with WB config.?

The 9200se has broken video drivers and is incapable of drawing per pixel elements in skins correctly using hardware acceleration.  You must enable that option in wbconfig.

Hey Neil, do you mean the option in wbconfig for corrupted text backgrounds. If so I will check it. Or do you mean Hyperpaint, if so I have it enabled and set at high. Thanks.

Edit; I have checked the option in wbconfig for corrupted text backgrounds and WB config corruption is gone.
