so where's the .pdf manual download?

I was told that download only pre-orders would be able to download a .pdf format manual but sofar i cant find it anywhere.

Also i was wondering, when u download the game, does it save a setup somewhere so i could burn the game-setup onto a cd?

It's in the folder the game is installed in. Try looking for:
Stardock/Total Gaming/Sins of a Solar Empire/manual.pdf

It's pretty cool. Lots of pages, descriptions of the ships, good stuff.

You already have the manual if you have the game :) It's the folder you installed Sins to which is likely something like C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\Sins of a Solar Empire\manual.pdf.

thnx, i found the manual.

now all i need is a way to burn the game onto a cd/dvd.

I mean i know im gonna loose the serial and stuff if i dont burn it so i like to burn everything together.

you can archive it from stardock central :)

And if you lose your serial, don't worry! You can request it from the guys at stardock.

so how do i burn it?

...
just zip the totalgaming folder and burn that?

Install Stardock Central, select Sins, right-click and select Archive. Burn the .sdc file to a DVD along with a copy of Stardock Central (so you can un-archive it) and that's it. ;)

When you archive the game it makes a .sdc file in Program Files\Stardock\Stardock Central\BACKUP. Just copy that file to the disc along with the installer for SDC itself and you're set.

Off-topic, but thought I'd offer a tip on storing your serial numbers. It's not necessary with this game because of Stardock, but works for others.

Ever try out Google Docs? I just create a spreadsheet on my Google Docs account, set it as private, and keep all my serials in there. That way no matter where I'm at, I have access to all my keys in case I lose the physical copies.

This thread comes up when I was looking for the manual online, as the one that came with my install DVD is very difficult to access and view - I have uploaded it to the following website, so it is now easy to access and view... ENJOY!
