-Surrender- is this the first time you have ever downloaded the trial? Go into WindowBlinds Configuration, copy system info and post here.

That's probably happening because of you reinstalling it 5 times. Where did you download the trial from?
Well, if you hadn't that's where I would have directed you to. What you are describing is what happens when the 30 day trial period is up. I don't think going back to the Stardock home page will help because I'm sure the track the trials by downloads. Uninstall WindowBlinds from your computer, if you have a reg cleaning program run it. Then us the link below. It's to Download.com. See if that doesn't work and give you a good download.

Please to help us to help you can you provide your systems informations they look like this:

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.51 (build 97 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha. WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor. Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware. Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature. Onboard graphics tend not to.

(Écran Plug-and-Play) 1 is attached to GIGABYTE RADEON 9200

Wblind.dll Date hour
Wbsrv.dll Date hour
Wbconfig.exe Date hour
Wbload.exe Date hour
Wbhelp.dll Date hour
Wbui.dll Date hour
Tray.dll Date hour

you can find it by right click on the Windowblinds system tray icon and under "system information" on the WB application
click the top right button "copy text" and past it here

If you can't access to WB config and keep getting the message box to reboot, you should used the odnt_zapper to uninstall WB then Reboot, then install WB trought Stardock Central (the application you can found here: https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp not from the website) , then Reboot.

commanderbdokey: First thing before all --> since how many time do you have installed the WB trial?
commanderbdokey, once you reach the time limit on the trail, reinstalling will not help. If that is the case you now need to decide whether the software is worth the purchase.

If you need any help is making that decision post back with any questions you might have. :)

As Philly originally alluded to, the Shareware version has a time limit. After the time limit it won't work..........period.

No amount of uninstall-reinstall will start the time over. The time starts on the day you FIRST install it. If you installed it but didn't use for a long time, you blew it.

If this is not the case make sure you install the latest shareware version. If you have XP64 then you need to get the 5.51 Shareware version. Windowblinds has some issues with Nview, so if you're using Nview.....turn it off. Other than that I'd recommend making sure you're using the latest drivers for your video card.

well thats gay cause my first time i unstall it during the 12th day cause i need some more space for my computer but i didnt know it will contiune after the unstalltion.
commander, just because you uninstall it doesn't mean it's off your PC. It leaves registry entries behind just for that sort of thing. Otherwise, when your 30-day trial was up you could just uninstall/reinstall the program and start over.......
well yea i though it was at least stop the trial when it is uninstall and when u reinstall it again it contiunes with ur time limit from where it left off
Reply #22 Top
Doesn't work that way otherwise the time limit would be pretty pointless with people trying to get around it. The program really is worth it.

I assume from the statement you haven't done this yourself because it WILL NOT work. I recommend you try it and find out. Spend 8-10 hours of your time reformatting and re-installing trying to save $20 Now that's what I call intelligence.

Also michaelv4....where did you obtain your version? Besides installing viruses and spyware the hacks normally DON'T work and display the kind of problems you're having.

browse the internet bro and maybe you'll find the answer where i get it i also use 5.0 and never got a problem .and actually hack or (cracked) are actually working
