wrong behaviour of task bar

Since my last update of WB the task bar is behaving wrong. I´m using Vista and use the task bar "auto-hided when not in use" (not shure if this is the correct term in english but I think You know what I mean).
so, since last update the task bar only appears when I approach it at the area of the start button, the clock or some unused area but it does NOT appear when I approach it where one of the program items is, which is rather annoying...
