BIG PROBLEM

Tried to buy ObjectDesktop....SD Server declined my Credit Card 4 times....my bank tells me I have $200.00 on hold for StarDock....I want OD,but dont want to pay for it 4 times......Someone needs to check this out....because to be honest I am a Little PISSED right now.

Not sure that anyone will be by today being the 1st. I would email support@stardock.com today and identify the problem. Someone maybe checking emails and get it to the sales folks first thing in the morning. Even though it appeared that you Credit Card was declined 4 times something must of of went through, otherwise the bank would not have money on hold for Stardock. Sales will be able the straighten it out for you. have you receive an email from Stardock with serial number and a link for downloading? Don't download until you hear from sales, I know you knew that.

I agree with you, not a great way to start out with Stardock or 2008.

Stardock office is closed for the holiday and will resume regular hours tomorrow January 02.  They will resolve this issue for you. Just "Call them tomorrow at Sales: 1-888-STARDOCK"

To me "Declined"should mean NOTHING happened....if I had'nt checked with my bank,Stardock would have got money for nothing....I never got a Single E-mail after this happened...no serial number...download link NOTHING ! ! ! ! !

I checked your account Liddle. I don't see any purchases listed under it. You should be alright with no charges. I'm sure sales will see to your email once we open tomorrow.

1 - a 'money block' is standard - happens when you rent a car, get a hotel, buy something using plasic -- if it 'declined' then the block sit until a signal is received to free up the block or a couple of days goes by (depends on the card issuer)
rent a car with an ATM checkcard - money gets blocked until total payment is authorized -- return the car and then pay with cash and the money stays blocked until either the rental agency clears it or time goes by with no charges - I've know people this has happened to and they could purchase anything with the ATM card or make withdrawals until the 'block' cleared
-- doesn't mean SD would have got your money for nothing

I'm sure it will all be sorted out as soon as they open. Hell, I have a 150$ mp3 player of my sons that quit working day after xmas and walmart wont have any in stock for several days.

Thats life. most places are closed over Holidays.

That's neither correct nor fair.

Stardock closed for the Christmas/New Year break, though it has been 'staffed' at odd times with ad-hoc presence.  Sales will have been closed to phone enquiries, etc during that time.

You can take comment #7 as formal and accurate.  Seabass is Stardock staff.

Contact Sales on Wednesday the Second, as that is when Stardock reopens.  [Office hours US time]...;)

I might have been unclear, sorry if I was.

After I saw your inquiry I checked the account under the listed email you posted with. I find the account but there are no purchases listed under it. Since you think this is in error you will have to check with sales. As support I don't have access to the sales information, only the accounts. If you have another account you made the purchase under I can check that one as well.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help than that but after tomorrow if you need anything just let me know.

Have called Stardock 5 times in last 2 hours....all I get is voicemail...appears no one is as yet there...this is very frustrating...

this happened to me once before while purchasing premium skins and you just gotta get through to sales....they will take care of everything for you...don't blow yer wig yet...they were very prompt in fixing my problem...lol...i paid 6 times for one premium skin
