Photoshop palette problem

Hi

Using Virtual Desktop 2.00.008 on Windows XP Pro SP2. If I start Photoshop CS2 on a different desktop it dispalys the main window and palettes but the palettes also get displayed back on the first desktop. If I close the palettes on the first desktop it also closes them on the virtual desktop with the main window.

I have tried locking photoshop to a specific virtual desktop but this did not help.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

Photshop . . always doing it's own thing.
End of quote

Tell me about it. My Photoshop keeps telling me to rat out certain members who say things about their wives like "They would think she could do more? Me too!" and " You allow your wife to use the computer?" . Then it tells me to sing the theme to 'Lavern And Shirley' from the roof. My Photoshop is weird.

My runs fine with Virtual Desktop. Let me check the settings and get back to you.

We can confirm that error. The latest update to VDesktops allows for dreams and Vista. I will let the developers know about Photoshop but it seems limited to just that software since I can't replicate it with other software.

alpha-prime,

A tip: try hit the [Tab] key on Photoshop before switching the desktops, this will hide the pallets, after move back, hit the [Tab] key again to show the pallets.

Thanks for the tab tip danilloOc, that is a good work around.

Thanks for the confirmation Seabass. I also get a similiar issue with Adobe Illustrator CS2 but this only affects the tool box. Hope the developers can fix this.

I think that it will be some time before the next update of VDesktop. There is a great deal of work coming for us in the next year but I have submitted the error. Hopefully a fix runs down the pipe soon.
