A couple of weeks ago I decided to get a subscription, then I read all the criticism that was spread about community skins. Today, raven2043 was upset that his wallpaper was not posted. All he got was sarcasm and jokes.

Why would I want to pay to join the site??!!!

Raven was rude and vulgar (the vulgar post was removed).  Would you want someone in your house acting like that?

The fact is that many submissions are not accepted to the main galleries of WC.  Some of them just aren't that good (although this is a matter of taste).

Raven didn't ask questions why.  He didn't ask for assistance on improving.  He threw a childish fit and was treated as such.  Had he posted differently, he would have been treated differently.  However, you'll notice that, at worst, he was treated mostly with humor along with some helpful suggestions.  That's not a bad considering his post.

The fact is, he choose to quit.  At that point one can assume he's never going to look at this thread anyway . . . so why not have some fun?

The community skin threads were intense.  People here feel passionatly about what they do and they expressed that.  What a great site that, while we get off track now and again, a member can express themselves to an extreme and still be part of the family.  It's not a bad place and really is worth joining.

Raven2043 come anger about a wallpaper that has been posted but in his personal page (like that has happened to many of us) and without taking the time to dialog he ask for left Wincustomize and stardock because of that.
So he got sarcasm and jokes yes but certainly more about his attitude than the quality of his work.
You know here we like play and joke about things more than being anger about them (especially some trolls  )

I'd to agree that it would be nice if we all could let this tread alone and back joking in an other aera/treads

It would help if one knew all the facts. I appreciate that the vulgar comments were omitted, however not knowing that was misleading.

On a side note, I really appreciate the great artists that submit here, they're great!

cireder, it is hard at times when all the facts are not know but it is important to the reputation of this site to remove such comments. There is no age limit to this site and it is not proper for younger ears to be reading such things. Also, many of us adults do not want to be bothered with it either.
