NEW IDEA(S)!

Why aren´t there more ways to destroy a planet?
First, to blast it into stone age(with some planetary bombardment), like Ron and Blair say it will be.
Second, to create a very large hole(with one auto-piloted, slow-going misile) from it´s surface to it´s core and seriously diminsh it´s production capabilitis.
Third, to destroy them into asteroids(this woud be the most expensive method, done by Death star-type of super-wepon on wich´s construction shoud all the other races be warned about).

*Eats a popcorn, spits it out, makes his own and puts only salt in it, sits down, and starts throwing them at Ron*

I'm fine with this idea as long as its not a belt or field (so like the core forms back together to form an asteriod).

The TEC superweapon can destroy colonies (the Novalith cannon). No one knows what the Vasari one or the Advent one do.

i have a dumb question might as well ask it here.

how come the united states has a nuke weapon that doesn't destroy infrastructure. but these future techies don't.

i mean come on which would you rather do move onto a planet and rebuild the houses. or move onto a planet that already has roads and city hall.

truth be told, infrastructure could mean the permeation of the TEC's government onto the planet, not nescessarily bunkers and the like (although bunkers and infrastructure upgrades would still translate well)
