Is this truly a "niche" game?

one of the things we've heard for a long time (from the devs and stardockians) is that SoaSE would need to be very player-friendly, on account that its quite a niche-based game. I have to agree that its what it seemed at first, but after almost a year of testing I have to comment on the COMPLETE lack of aversion to the game! its almost astonishing.

golf clap to IC for an ingenious creation, hopefully it will keep the same unique non-niche nicheness and charm that it has had from the beginning into the global market

What are you trying to do, get your reserved spot for beta 5?

Now on a lighter note, I couldn't agree more

I'm sure this has already been thought of, but if the game were marketed at Koreans there could be some huge sales to be had there... they love their RTS

Indeed it is, its the first EVER 4xRTS , similar to how World in Conflict is the first EVER RTT.

I hope it does really well, so other companies see that people want more 4xRTS games!
