How to increase Startmenu in Molten

Space for All Programms to small

Hi,

I am testing Windows Blind with Molten. It is very beautiful and I love it. But there is one thing, I am not happy about:

The Start menu is to small. If I click on ALL PROGRAMS it is to small. How can I increase the space for the left row?

Regards,

Andith

you'll have to adjust that very carefully using SkinStudio

Guys, maybe I am missing something but isn't there an easier option. Can't you just increase the size of the icons via Desktop properties or add more progs to your Start menu and that will automaitcally resize the Start menu

I was going by this, LtL:

I was thinking they were referring to either the left panel or the all programs menu size

Right, I mean the size from the left column (sorry not row ) in the Start Menu. I am using very often the "All Programs" Button. The gap is to small for me. The most names of the programs are longer as the width of the left column. And also a lot of folder in there. If I click on these folders and they open, the names of the content moved a little bit more to the right. So I would be happy, if the space (the width of the left column) would be 2 times bigger.

Andith, I am sorry I still do not understand your problem. Put up a screenshot of your issue on this thread and we'll have a look at it and advise you from there

I know what the problem is. In Vista the All Programs menu is contained in a box of fixed width, when you open a folder which has a long program name, it should scroll to the right but doesn't - it's frelled.

I think you can change the size in SkinStudio6, but I've not tried it. You can set the size of the left panel in 'Edit Start Menu and Taskbar' > 'Left Hand Side' > 'Programs List (left)' > 'Extra Settings'.

As I said, I've not actually tried it, so you may have to experiment

Don't forget to save a copy of the Molten folder just in case it doesn't work.

I tried to make the start menu compact on Diamond. I got screwed, all the menus turned black and I wasn't even adjusting them.
