Latest update breaks Windowblinds

Apply Changes button won't work

Hello,

This morning I started stardock central and applied the latest update to windowblinds (.100 or something like that) SC prompted me to restart- and restart I did. Upon restart, the classic skin is applied- When I try to apply any skin in windowblinds 6, the "apply my changes" button simply does not work (won't click)

This is very frustrating. I had no prior issues with WB6 before updating this morning.

BTW- several restarts haven't done anything to fix this.

How do I uninstall just the latest patch?

EDIT-

A complete uninstall of windowblinds 6 and subsequent fresh install of Windowblinds 6 from stardock central seems to have fixed this. All is working now.

I am going to email stardock tech support and ask for a link to the latest WB6 .exe file for archival purposes. Can any of the mods on here help with that?

Thanks!

Not a mod, but I can sure cover this one:

To save a clean version of a current program download:

Go into Stardock Central.
Click on Object Desktop in the left column.
You'll now be on the same screen you download your updates from.
Right-click on the software you want to save (WindowBlinds 6) in this case.
Within the right-click menu mouseover "Archive Application".
Within the extended right-click menu from "Archive Application" click on "Download and Archive".

This will only download the application, it will not install it. It will save it in the directory you have selected for Stardock Central backups, by default
C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Backup

Then move the newly downloaded file from that directory to an archive directory of your choice to keep track of it.

This file will be the program only, with any skins that are packaged with it by default. It will not include any of your skins or any of your configuration settings. I use the technique regularly to maintain clean versions going back a couple of versions in case I want to dump a current version and go back to a previous one for some reason.

Works like a charm.

the same thing happened to me last night. when i opened sdc after the update, it still showed the update as avaiklable and not installed. i told sdc to install the update a second time and rebooted. after the second reboot, everything was fine.
