internet icon crashed in objectdock

hi!

im having problems with OD...i have an internet explorer icon on OD, but when i click on this icon, OD get freeze! And i can´t access OD after that! Internet pop-ups, but OD is still frozen...what´s happening?
another problem..when i click on Desktop icon in my taskbar (near start menu) my OD turns off!! what´s happening? help me!

try dragging the icon off the dock and letting it go, then add a new one

it shouldn't turn off, but may temporarily disappear
the way I understand it, show the desktop overlays a mask of the background - there's a setting in OD to not do anything to OD when show the deskop or winky+d is clicked/pressed
