Windowblinds 6 doesn't skin anything

Clean install of windows xp sp2. I had vista transformation pack installed, but now have uninstalled it. I've also tried to reinstall windowblinds but to no avail.

When I apply any new skin, the windows classic skin is always applied. What is going on here?

If I'm not mistaken, the problem with vista transformation pack is that it changes files. Do a search of the forums and look for some past threads. I know this has come up before.

I wish I could remember just what was the problem. I can remember that WB's and vista transformation pack just do not play well together. Someone will come along with some help, hang in there.

I had this problem and tried a few of the suggestions. I realized it was likely my fault: I un-installed WB 5 and installed WB 6 in the same Stardock Central session. After un-installing and re-installing WB 6 (w/ reboot in between) every thing works great now =D

Hmm, I've tried to reboot in between uninstallation and reinstallation, but still no luck. Any other ideas? Is it better to install in safe mode, etc?

This looks like a good time to be sending an email to support@stardock.com.

I chuckle,.... and then give thumbs up to Stardock as the real person to be looking for support from would be the people that made the Vista Transformation pack. Stardock will help clean up the mess.
