England vs Australia

An amazing performance by the English Lionhearts.
I know they whipped us at cricket but even as a staunch supporter I couldn't see us beating the Aussies at the World Cup quarter final.
Amazing heart and bravery.
"Almost" as good as 2003!

Um. I love soccer (football). But, it's just a sport. And this is on a PC desktop customization site. So I think you might have more luck posting this in a sports related forum.

I think Valhalla has earned the right to discuss what he wants. This is a community remember.

I watched the game in the little bar on the little island I live on in the South China Sea, with three English divers....none of us expected England to win, but we felt we ought to watch....absolutely incredible...I still have a smile on my face....not only did we beat them, but we deserved to beat them, having played better rugby...great game!

The boys did well, but the value of the result - lies in the value of the opposition. Both the Aussies and All Blacks field great sides - it's what makes the games and the cup worthwhile.

Great entertainment

Nah ...in all seriousness, it was a fantastic effort. Well done!

We will just have to beat you next time, again and again and again!!! The green n gold will triumph again! LOL.

Just some advice for the English... Don't sledge your team when they loose that goes for any sport rugby and cricket. Remember the Ashes, compare 2005 - 2006.

Congrats on your win!
Australian, True and Blue!!!

I can't believe you said that  ,he's probably the greatest bowler ever to play the game, and I'm an Englishman! Any Aussies I have ever spoken to think he is an absolute legend too.
And yes Valhalla the rugby was fantastic. Swing low, sweet chariot,Coming for to carry me home....

I've never questioned Warne's cricketing abilities, but his off-field antics are deplorable....and I'm not saying so based purely on the media gossip. Someone who knows him quite well told me quite a bit...nope, I simply can not like/admire anyone like that.

Yep the rugby world cup ain't bin too bad, good professional players on all the top sides, pity the ref's & sideline refs ain't upto the same standard, for a sport that's supposed to be professional with gawd knows how many millions poured into it, it's a bloody disgrace, the IRB need to take a leaf out of the Aussies Rugby League & start using the video ref,i'm suprised the sponosors don't have a crack at the IRB for that sort of nonsence it's been going on for long enough..end rant..lmao

ps: Go the poms & kick the frogs backsides, for the record i am a pom but shhhh i'm under cover in NZ

Yep, I'm a pom too hiding in Denver. Go you Rockies !!!! Oooooops, right bar wrong team !!!

Watched the Aussies get trounced by that one-man team of goal-kicking [again]....how many tries?

Best man won, though....

Poor old All-Blacks beaten by the French....missed that game...but was probably a bigger/unexpected 'disaster'....

Springboks vs Fiji ....now that was a great game.....better team lost there, too, though were expected to.

Sudden-death elimination sporting codes....always fun, one way or another...

Meanwhile....possibly the best F1 driver currently motoring is....shock-horror....a Pom!!!.....[no, not Button]

This is really great for the sport.....now if only they can see if Hamilton has a brother who rides bikes......[ Barry, we miss ya].

Stoner finally was the first rider to put one over the Japanese dominators of MotoGP/500 Manufacturers....it's 30 YEARS since a non-Japanese bike won the Moto Championship....

....and I'm off to cheer him on at P.I. in 3 days....

SA vs. Fiji ....some excellent ref'ing there...

Disaster is right, the whole country has plunged into a state of depression.
If All Blacks cant win Aussies winning is next best thing but that didnt work out either...

Now I'm of to find some rope and a tree

Could be interesting, but goal kicking might be a problem.

Don't go doing that...not over a game of rugby. Could understand it over rugby league - not rugby, tho
