SDCentral crashes when updating

from WinCustomize Forums
No matter what I do, SD central crashes when trying to update itself. Wouldn't be a big problem if the update wasn't needed for WB 6. Only happens on my XP SP2 machine though.

Solved by switching of auto-update.

Hmmm.. an auto-update issue? If you happen to remember, which version of SDC were you running previously?

Since the update if you switch it back on will it continue to crash? Have you tried a simple reinstall?

Well, at the moment there is nothing it could update with itself. Newest ver is running

Please do us a favor if you will. I am testing this but please turn the auto update back on and if it occurs again write into us at support@stardock.com. You can reference this thread in there as well. I can't seem to replicate this but we would like to know as soon as the possibility of something this comes up.
