How do I get the free WB6-upgrade?

Have you tried obtaining your serial numbers again?

Yes, it sends the WB5 serial... no mention of WB6.

I also have the same problem.
I have done that, what Neil said. Now i have a new serial, but for WB 5 again.
Any other suggestions?
Or should i just do the upgrade at Stardock.com, but don't have to pay anything?

I have checked and apparently the system is currently updating accounts that qualify for the free upgrade and you should be getting an e-mail when it is done.

Edit: And it doesn't activates...yet.

I have not received my email yet.

I recieved an Email with a link for the WB 6 dl and a Serial with Email listed that the serial is attached to.

I got it installed but I can't activate it either..
I prompted SDC to send me another Email with all my Serials and yet WB 6 was not listed on it.

But I did get an earlier email with a serial for WB 6 ..

I guess I can keep trying to activate it...

You'd think they would have these issues resolved prior to releasing the product huh!?!

A release like this always has bugs.  In this case the "bug" might just be user load.  It's not like you can buy servers or whatnot just to be used for a launch day.  And it's not like you can test for everything.

It'll work out soon; Stardock always takes care of their clients.

I am having the same problems as well My "free" upgrade says I need to buy a new registration number and the numbers stardock sends me are for WindowBlinds 5

it seems like they are not taking care of their customers. We should have been some of the first people to have been taken care of. I was anxious for this day to come and now I cant updgrade.

We are currently fixing a problem with the free upgrade accounts.

This should be sorted soon.

Thanks Much Neil and as for me I got my WB 6 activated.

I am not sure what it was but I had no trouble downloading WB 6 and only issue with "activating" it was it took some time for my account to be "recognized" I guess.

as Always the great Stardock people have quickly took care of us

how long should i expect to wait?

I just prompted for an email and it sent me the link for WB5. Should I try to prompt it again? or wait till later ?

I got the Downloadlink and i activated.working perfectly by me.
