logon studio not working

i've been using logon studio for a while, but i reinstalled it to another directory today. for some reason now, it doesn't even work. when i download a .logonxp file, the default program to open it is notepad, which it won't let me change, and even when i make it open with logon studio, it will open the program, but the skin won't show, but only the original 3. i don't know why it's doing this, and it's really bothering me. anyone know what's wrong?

The reason you decided to reinstall it to another directory was?

I take it you uninstall the program before reinstalling. Everything might not have been delented with the uninstall. There may have been some links left which are causing the problem.

no, i uninstalled then i reinstalled. after that, all .logonxp files are set to open with notepad, and even if i open it with logon studio, nothing will show.

Have you tried changing the file association manually?
Right click a .logonxp file and select 'properties'. Under the General tab it should list the following:

Type of File: LogonStudio Document
Opens With: LogonStudio

If it does not, click on the 'change' button and browse for LogonStudio.exe, then 'OK', 'OK' and it should be set.

yes, i have done that, and when i open the file, logon studeio pops up, and nothing else shows but the 3 default ones
