Instructions for posting

Is there a FAQ list for posting on the forums.  I have tried on numerous occasions to post image links and they simply come out as text you must copy into a browser.  Is there a way to script them so they act like a link and open a new browser tab, now even in IE, rather than the c&p routine?  Even better, is there a way to script them in html so the image is auto drawn from a remote site into the message.

There is an insert web link button on the editor menu bar (icon: small globe with chain link at bottom). Most users use an image host site like photobucket or imageshack and insert the web link using the button.

I do all my linking manually using html because I trust it better than the forums' bbcode. Links pasted into posts *should* automatically be made clickable but seems they haven't done that yet...

For an image click on the icon as shown in the pic and enter the image URL

No worries Snap Hook. You found a need for a fix in DX. Insert Link and Insert Image work great you just hadn't noticed them before.

Often I find people have posted textual links that don't 'click'.

I edit the comment and simply add a 'space' to the end of the link text....and the link will then function.

Eg.....

What I have been doing is to type a word highlight it, then paste my page link into the insert link button, this changes it into a herf...then I can insert the description text. Then just bc ...... I add some color ...Quick & painless
