help for a newbie please ....

hey guys
ive just installed object dock n it seems my original task bar and object dock is clashing ? ive checked the settings to turn off my task bar are correct .i also get a blank screen where my wallpaper was saying that my active desk top has been turned off ( after clicking on properties n restoring my wallpaper it happens again ) .

im running windows xp pro ... i have installed the free version of object dock . the settings i used was on the object dock properties "hide task bar" (under general settings )im using "vista glass" ...i have 15 docks : windows start menu ,show desktop ,my computer,my music,internet ,check e mail( new beta version) ,weather,music player (wmp 11) ,clock ,recycle bin, network connections ,toggle autohide ,search (google), my documents ,windows live messenger (new beta version ).
i have a mixture of alienware style and original docklets , and im running it on a laptop. thanks again in advance...
