I have found yet another site that not only has skin rips but also programs as well like Rumshot... go figure right

this particular user seems to be big on posting things

I have seen windowblinds, wallpapers, icons, cursor, ect on this site... sometimes the original authors name is included, sometimes its not.. also, sometimes there is a link to the original download and sometimes not.

Check it out yourself and you decide what you would like to do.

I have no clue how to contact anyone directly related to the site itself, maybe someone else can?

At this pages many topics to alone software created not by site-owners.

Do authors of this topics ask permissions from ALL authors of software ? Not.
And you are talking about ripping ? All internet - is a rip ?

This is no rip, when exists direct link to author's page, this is a only "quote".
Ant this "quotation" is allowed by any law. Please read law.

the problems there was that the site in his news put direct download links (thought that you don't see the page of the authors but download the files directly) that's not "quotation"

Laws are there to be respected and followed



Please to those who can't understand:

Guess it is a bite difficult for the owner of this site means Computers arts to shutdown his site. He made the good decision and i guess he will ask for permissions now, So maybe you will see this site sooner or later back to the scene.
But for now debate of it is it necessary when the owner agree with that laws and close his site to follow it?

A bite of respect will be welcome thought.

Respect the courage of this guy and his honesty
He came here to dialog with us about his site,
He saw that there are weird things in his site
and close it in waiting for clean it up.
